Wema Bank Plc is one of Nigeria’s longest indigenous commercial bank as it was founded back in 1945 as Agbonmagbe Bank Limited and has evolved to the phygital financial institution we know today.
Currently, the bank has emerged as the first in Africa to pioneer a fully digital bank known as ALAT by Wema which currently serves millions of customers in Nigeria.
The bank does give youths an avenue to learn through the Wema Bank Graduate Trainee program also known as Bankers-in-Training (BIT) programme. This programme is set as an entry-level training ground to help young professional cultivate sales, relationship management and technological skills in the banking sector.
To join this programme, applicant must have at least second class upper (2:1) from an accredited university. Should not exceed 26 years of age, possess O’level with five (5) credits and had completed the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
