Categories of the Scholarship
The NNPC-Renaissance JV university scholarship is sub divided into two major categories which are;
- National Merit Award (NM): This is open to all eligible and interested Nigerian currently doing an undergraduate degree programme.
- Operation Merit Award: This is more focused on indigenes of Renaissance’s core operational areas such as Bayelsa, Delta, Imo, and Rivers State.

Shortlist Eligibility Criteria
To get shortlisted for the NNPC-Renaissance JV university scholarship aptitude test, candidate must:
- Be a citizen of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
- Have a valid means of identification like NIN, Voters Card, International passport or driver’s license.
- Be a full-time undergraduate student of any accredited tertiary institution I Nigeria.
- Not currently benefit from other scholarship programme in the Oil and Gas industry.
- Provide evidence of being in 200 level.
